Privacy Policy

InvoiceRescue ("we", "us") sends automatic payment reminders for overdue invoices on behalf of freelancers and small businesses. This page explains what personal data we handle and why.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Invoice data you enter or import: client name, client email address, amount, currency, due date, invoice number, notes, and the sender name you want shown on reminders.
• Payment data: when you pay, Dodo Payments processes the payment. We receive the transaction result and an order reference; we never see or store your card details.
• Usage data: basic first-party analytics such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, referrer, browser user agent, and an anonymous visitor/session identifier.

How we use it

• To send the reminder emails you set up, in your name, on the schedule you chose.
• To run your account, process payments, and send you service emails such as a weekly summary.
• To understand how the site is used and fix problems.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Reminder emails and your clients

When you add an invoice, you tell us to email your client about it. You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to contact them. Replies to reminders go to the sender address you provided, not to us. Each reminder can be stopped by the sender marking the invoice as paid; a recipient who wants reminders to stop can reply to the email or contact us at support@invrescue.com.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service:

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Dodo Payments — payment processing.
• Vercel — website hosting.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To have your account and invoice data deleted, email support@invrescue.com.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to measure basic site usage.
